One more Euchre Tournament, Friday March 13th. You know the plug (or check last month’s TellTale).
The Macomb County Board of Commissioners holds Friday Casual Days for charity where County workers can pay $1 to dress down on a Friday. The funds raised are then donated to charity. Junior Sailing was chosen to be the beneficiary of the dress down dollars collected in January and was presented $494! Thank you, Macomb County!
Junior Sailing will be at the Macomb Family YMCA on April 18th, from 1p – 3p. Stop on by, throw some balls around, and say, “Hi.”
And now, the event you’ve been waiting for all winter, our Boater-to-Boater sale will be the weekend of April 25 & 26th. We’ll have an assortment of goodies set-up up in the club April 24th for a pre-sale before and after the Skipper’s meeting. Yup, we know it’s workday that Saturday. And, yup, we love a captive audience. So, just in time for spring cleaning, you have an eager organization happy to take that box (or truckload) of boat stuff you’ll never use again and find happy new homes for them. We’re collecting your donations now. Drop them off at the club or give us a call and we’ll figure out how to make them disappear from your basement or garage or…
We earned $32.08 in Kroger rewards for the quarter ending January 31, 2026. There are now 14 households participating for NSJS. I’m sure there are plenty more households that could register NSJS as their charity of choice in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. Go to the online Kroger account connected to your Kroger card and use code JT277. There is no cost to enroll and NSJS will earn funding whenever you shop and swipe your Kroger card at checkout. Let’s double rewards for next quarter. We can do it!
